The acclaimed actor has to look for new activities after finishing his way in the Marvel film universe.
Robert Downey Jr. ends a glorious year for his acting career. In 2008 it had been the first time that he put on the Iron Man suit, 11 years later he put it on for the last time to face the crazy titan Thanos in what was the biggest film battle in history that left Marvel with the title of the highest grossing movie of all time.
Already far from his role in the Marvel film universe, Downey Jr. looks forward to seeing how he will face criticism and audiences in "Dolittle", the feature film where he will be surrounded by digital animations with the voices of big stars, in the new version of the renowned character capable of talking to animals that Eddie Murphy brought to life in the nineties.
While waiting, the acclaimed actor dedicated himself to learning to weave, although he would not be doing very well with his new venture. As he published in his official networks, the Christmas sweater he designed can only be worn by a zombie in a movie about the living dead. The occurrence of the interpreter fell in love with his millions of followers.
As he showed in the film's trailers, the film will be very far from what the cinema knows about Dr. Dolittle so far and will be closer to the saga of children's books published by Hugh Lofting in 1922, where the character goes the world by boat and has different types of adventures that may turn this film into a franchise.
In this film, Dr. John Dolittle, famous doctor and veterinarian of Queen Victoria's England, lives on the high walls of his home only with his collection of exotic animals, since his wife died seven years before the events he will narrate this tape. The young queen falls seriously ill and Dolittle is forced to go on an epic adventure to a mythical island in search of a cure, in that journey he will meet old adversaries and wonderful creatures.
